Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Schizonepeta spikelets, 2.5 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala (root, without the rhizome), 3 qian of Ginseng (root, without the rhizome), 2 liang of Atractylodes lancea (cleaned, chopped, and stir-fried), 2 qian of Poria cocos (peeled), half a liang of Gypsum, and 2.5 qian of Licorice (roasted).

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; boil with 1 zhan of water until reduced to 8 fen; strain out the residue. This formula is particularly suitable for lactating mothers; children may take it as needed, regardless of the time of day.
