Chinese Name : 金蟾丸
Drug Formulation
1 dried toad (large; coated with butter and roasted until dark yellow), 1 fen of Coptis chinensis, half liang of earthworm (lightly roasted), 1 fen of cinnabar (finely ground), 1 fen of snake-shed skin ash, 1 fen of realgar (finely ground), 1 fen of Indian saffron (finely ground),1 fen of cicada shell (lightly roasted), half a liang of musk (finely ground), half a he of belladonna seeds (rinsed in water to remove floating seeds; boiled in water until sprouts emerge, then dried and roasted until yellowish-black).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills the size of mung beans using glutinous rice.
