Drug Formulation

Cinnabar (of the highest quality) half liang, borax half liang, realgar half liang, lead white half liang, lead oxide half liang,imported sulfur half liang, dried lacquer (finely chopped) half liang, gold leaf 10 pieces, silver leaf 10 pieces, gold toothstone half liang (ground separately), purple quartz half liang (ground separately), Tianma half liang, Sichuan Qianghuo half liang, Duhuo half liang, croton seed half liang (core and oil completely removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Melt 3 liang of beeswax into a liquid, mix it evenly with the medicinal ingredients, and while still hot, shape into pills the size of a chicken’s head. Coat them with cinnabar and place them in a porcelain bowl.

Instructions for Use
