Formulas Name : Hē Qǐ San

Chinese Name : 喝起散

Drug Formulation

1 liang of Pinellia (washed 7 times in boiling water, then ground into powder), 4 liang of fresh ginger (grind to extract juice; mix with the Pinellia powder to form cakes; if the mixture is too runny, add a small amount of flour), 1 fen of cinnabar (water-floated), 1 fen of talc, 1 fen of raw white alum, and 3 pieces of malachite.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 zi per dose, mixed with decocted winter melon soup, at any time. If the child regains consciousness after one dose, discontinue further administration.
