Drug Formulation
4 liang of honey, half a liang of Coptis (stems removed, ground into powder), half a liang of Euphorbia seeds (soaked in hot water, red skin removed, finely ground), and half a qian of borneol (ground and mixed in).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with honey, and place in a copper vessel. Simmer over low heat until it reaches the consistency of thin syrup. Strain through fresh silk, allow the mixture to cool slightly, add borneol, stir until evenly blended, and store in a porcelain container.

For redness, swelling, and pain in the eyes.
Instructions for Use
Apply the ointment to the outer corner of the eye with a copper chopstick, 2–3 times daily.
