Chinese Name : 拟金丹
Drug Formulation
Cinnabar 3 liang, mercury 3 liang, yellow丹 1 jin.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients together until all traces of mercury are gone. Place the mixture in a sealed crucible, cover the opening, and seal it according to standard procedure. Initially, heat gently over a low flame; once the heat penetrates thoroughly, add 10 jin of charcoal,calcine until it glows uniformly red for half a day; once the elixir is complete, allow it to cool before opening and retrieving it. The surface should be white, while the interior should be purplish-gold, with a brilliant luster. Grind it finely into a powder, spread it on paper laid on the ground, cover it with a basin, and let it sit for one day to remove the fire toxicity. Then mix it with millet rice to form pills the size of mung beans.
