Drug Formulation

Half a liang of apricot kernels, 6 zhu of Sichuan pepper, 6 zhu of aconite, 6 zhu of Asarum.

Processing

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Soak them in 5 he of vinegar overnight; the next morning, simmer with 5 he of lard until the Aconite turns yellow and the ointment is formed. Strain out the residue, allow to cool, and apply to cotton wool.

Instructions for Use

Apply to the nostrils twice daily, while also massaging the top of the head.
