Drug Formulation
2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 2 liang of tiger shin bone (roasted in clarified butter), 2 liang of Sichuan Notopterygium, 2 liang of Sichuan Smilax, 2 liang of Saposhnikovia root, 4 liang of Gentiana macrophylla, 1 liang of softshell turtle shell (roasted in vinegar), 2 liang of Sichuan Achyranthes (soaked in wine), 2 liang of pine knots, 2 liang of late silkworm sand (roasted),5 liang of goji berries, 8 liang of dried eggplant roots (steamed over rice), 4 liang of cocklebur seeds (roasted and crushed) (one formula adds 1 white flower snake; another adds 2 liang of Xunfeng vine).

Processing
Place the above herbs in a silk bag and suspend it in a large jar filled with ash-free wine; seal the jar tightly. After 14 days, open the jar to retrieve the wine; when doing so, do not face the mouth of the jar, lest the medicinal fumes strike your face.

Instructions for Use
Drink one cup at a time, ensuring the medicinal effect is not interrupted; once the entire quantity is consumed, the illness will be cured. Dry the herbal residue in the sun and grind it into a powder; form it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using rice paste. Take 80 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine.
Note
Avoid foods that induce wind or are pungent and hot.
