Drug Formulation

Authentic Sichuan Fritillary Bulb 4 liang (must undergo four preparations. For the first preparation, steam 1 large Aconite Root with 1 soup bowl of children’s urine; slice finely, dry, then add 3 soup bowls of rice wine and 3 soup bowls of Chinese chive juice to a clay pot. Simmer the Fritillary Bulb until dry, then discard the Aconite Root;For the second treatment, use 1 liang of snow toad; if unavailable, substitute with 1 pair of large geckoes. Crush them with a stone, then add 3 bowls of rice wine and 3 bowls of chive juice. Simmer with the Fritillaria until completely dry, then discard the geckoes;For the third batch, use 1 liang of Evodia fruit; again, add 3 soup bowls of rice wine and 3 soup bowls of chive juice, and simmer with the fritillary bulb until completely dry; discard the Evodia fruit; For the fourth batch, use 5 qian of male cloves; again, add 3 soup bowls of rice wine and 3 soup bowls of chive juice, and simmer with the fritillary bulb until completely dry; discard the cloves. Upon completion, the fritillary bulb will be as soft as mud.)

Processing

Place the mixture in a stone mortar and pound it; then add 1 qian of genuine opium, 3 qian of milk-processed toad venom, and 5 fen of musk. Mix thoroughly, shape into strips, bake until dry, and store.

Instructions for Use

When using, grind with saliva and apply.
