Drug Formulation

Musk (powdered) 2 liang, Hematite 2 liang, Scutellaria baicalensis 2 liang, Cinnabar (powdered) 2 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong 2 liang, Aquilaria agallocha 2 liang, Aquilaria sinensis 2 liang, Herbs 3 liang, Cimicifuga herba 3 sheng, Antelope Horn 3 liang, Ye Gan 3 liang, Rheum palmatum 3 liang, Goat Fat 3 liang, Rehmannia glutinosa juice 1 sheng.

Processing

Chop the ingredients. Soak them in vinegar overnight. Simmer in 6 sheng of lard over low heat for three cycles, strain out the residue, add cinnabar and powdered musk, and stir until the ointment is well blended.
