Drug Formulation

7.5 qian of blue agarwood, half a liang of aniseed, half a liang of scorpion tails, half a liang of Yangqishi, half a liang of realgar (dissolved in hot water to remove impurities and purge its fiery nature), half a liang of sulfur (finely ground), 2.5 qian of raw white alum, and 1 liang of black aconite root (roasted, with skin and pith removed).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with wine paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

When the condition flares up, weigh 2.5 qian of fresh cotton, burn it to ash, and grind it together with 15 pills of the medicine. Take it with hot wine. For severe cases, increase the dose to 20 pills; the pain will subside immediately, and the qi will cease to rise upward, with recovery following shortly thereafter. For chronic cases, take 10 pills daily; after half a month, a substance resembling peach gum should appear in the urine, indicating that the root of the disease has been eradicated.
