Chuan Shan Jia 2 liang, whole scorpions 2 liang, white angelica root 2 liang, Coptis 2 liang, whole Angelica sinensis 2 liang, Scutellaria 2 liang, raw Rehmannia 1 liang, red peony root 1 liang, Strychnos 1 liang, Cinnamomum cassia 4 liang, seaweed 4 liang.

Processing
Take 2 jin 4 liang of sesame oil, boil it in a pot until it turns dark, strain out the residue, then add 10 liang of refined cinnabar, 7 qian of beeswax, 3 qian of white wax, and 2 liang of lead powder. Simmer until it forms a paste, immerse it in water, remove and let it air-dry, then melt it again in a pot. Add 2 qian each of frankincense, myrrh, and mercury oxide,musk, realgar, and cinnabar—each 1 qian; mud from a north-facing swallow’s nest and male mouse feces—each 5 qian; and dragon’s blood—1 liang. Grind all these ingredients into a fine powder, remove from heat, mix into the ointment, stir thoroughly, and store.
