Drug Formulation

Chuan Niuxi (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, and roasted) 4 liang; Roucongrong (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, and roasted) 4 liang;Sichuan pepper (seeds removed) 4 liang, Aconite root (roasted) 4 liang, Trichosanthes seed (shell removed) 3 liang, Earthworm (cleaned of soil) 3 liang, Rubus fruit 2 liang, White Aconite root 2 liang, Dodder seed (soaked in wine, ground) 2 liang, Red adzuki beans 2 liang, Tiannanxing 2 liang, Fangfeng (root base removed) 2 liang,Dipsacus asper (hairs removed) 2 liang, Polygonum multiflorum 2 liang, Smilax glabra 2 liang, Sichuan Notopterygium 2 liang, Cynomorium songaricum (hairs removed) 2 liang, Lindera aggregata 2 liang, Astragalus membranaceus 1 liang, Panax ginseng 1 liang, Sichuan Aconite (roasted) 1 liang, Poria cocos 1 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 1 liang, Glycyrrhiza uralensis 1 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from flour boiled in wine to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.
