Instructions for Use

Apply the mixture, mixed with yellow wine, to the affected area; if there are blood blisters on the surface of the sore, do not use Acorus, as it may rupture the skin. Instead, first apply the other four ingredients, then apply Acorus powder to the surface, covering the entire perimeter and separating it with thin paper; when applying powdered medicine, it must be warm to allow the medicinal properties to penetrate; if it dries, replace it with a moist application;If the black halo around the lesion does not fade and the ulcer itself is colorless, the patient has likely taken excessive cooling medications. Do not use Huanglong Powder abruptly, as its potency is too strong and may cause further pain upon application—since the tissue is not yet dead. Instead, add Cinnamon Bark and Chinese Angelica to this formula to draw out stagnant blood; once the blood rises to the surface, remove these two ingredients and continue treatment with the original formula alone;If the pain persists, soak frankincense and myrrh in wine, place the mixture in an earthenware vessel over a fire until melted, then pour it while still hot into the medicine, mix thoroughly, and apply it; the pain will cease immediately.If a fleshy protrusion forms at the wound site, add Pinellia to this formula and mix it with ginger juice and wine to apply until it falls off; this is caused by exposure to wind. If there are signs of heat, combine it with Hongbao Dan and apply a paste mixed with scallion juice and clear tea; if there are signs of cold, combine it with Huanglong Powder and apply it with well-aged wine.
