1 liang of Chuanxiong, 1 liang of Licorice, 1 liang of Banlangen, 1 liang of Kudzu Root, 2 qian of Borneol, 2 qian of Musk (ground), 0.5 fen of Ox Bile (ground), 3 qian of Raw Rhinoceros Horn, 3 qian of Cinnamon, half a liang of Pearl Powder, 2.5 liang of Sichuan Rhubarb, 1 liang of Sweet Calcium Carbonate, 4 qian of Cinnabar (half for coating), 3 qian of Indigo Powder, 5 qian of Peppermint.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with honey and water to form a paste using steamed buns, then shape into pills. Make 10 pills per liang. Coat each pill separately with cinnabar; while still moist, coat them with 40 sheets of genuine gold leaf. Store in a porcelain container; they will remain intact for many years.
