Drug Formulation
2 qian of pearl, 2 qian of golden olive, 6 fen of genuine Beijing ink (ground), 2 qian of Sichuan curcuma, 6 fen of rhinoceros horn, 2 qian of refined cinnabar, 6 fen of red gold leaf, 5 fen of calcined white clay, 5 fen of camphor, 2 qian of superior dragon’s blood, 2 qian of Indian turmeric, 2 qian of superior agarwood, 3 qian of bitter licorice, 6 fen of human fingernails (roasted until crisp),Sichuan fritillary bulb 3 qian, genuine bear bile 6 fen, superior blood amber 6 fen, hawksbill tortoise shell (roasted until crisp) 7 fen, sweet shepherd’s purse 2 qian, Dangmenzi 3 fen.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Decoct Ephedra, Uncaria, Peppermint, and Dried Tangerine Peel (each 1 liang) to make a decoction. Mix with one scoop of glutinous rice water, blend thoroughly, and pound into pills. Each pill weighs 1 qian. Coat with cinnabar and store in wax-sealed containers.
