Liver-Calming and Wind-Subduing Decoction,For internal stroke syndrome. The pulse is string-like, long, and forceful, or strong in the upper part and weak in the lower part; the patient experiences dizziness in the head and eyes; or pain and fever in the brain; or distension in the eyes and ringing in the ears; or internal heat and restlessness; or frequent belching; or a gradual loss of mobility in the limbs; or a gradual deviation of the mouth and eyes; or a complexion resembling intoxication; or even falling down,losing consciousness and not recognizing anyone, regaining consciousness only after some time, or failing to fully recover after waking, with diminished vitality; or experiencing weakness and paralysis of the limbs; or developing hemiplegia.

Drug Formulation

1 liang of Huai Achyranthes, 1 liang of raw ochre (finely ground), 5 qian of raw dragon bone (crushed), 5 qian of raw oyster shell (crushed), 5 qian of raw turtle shell (crushed), 5 qian of raw Hangzhou peony root, 5 qian of Scrophularia, 5 qian of Asparagus root,2 qian Sichuan Melia fruit (crushed), 2 qian raw barley malt, 2 qian Yinchen, 1.5 qian licorice.
