Chinese Name : 香豉丸

Drug Formulation

1 liang of dried cornelian cherry, 1 liang of licorice, 20 pieces of fragrant fermented soybeans, 1 liang of Asarum, 1 liang of apricot kernels (with tips and skins removed, double-kerneled, and roasted), and 2 liang of purple aster.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Separately, pound the apricot kernels into a paste, then mix the powder into the paste until uniform. Shape into pills the size of a paulownia seed using refined honey.

Benefits

For chronic cough due to rising qi and chronic cold-induced arthralgia.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 pills three times daily. If no improvement is seen, increase the dose to 5 pills; at bedtime, place 10 pills in the mouth and let them dissolve in the throat before swallowing.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, and raw lettuce.
