Benefits

For wind-induced epilepsy characterized by a dry mouth, parched tongue, restlessness, headache, sudden fever, and mental confusion; as well as febrile illnesses in middle-aged and elderly individuals presenting with persistent high fever, mental confusion, delirium, restlessness, and excessive thirst.

Instructions for Use

Add 5 large bowls of water to the ingredients and boil the gypsum; strain off 2 large bowls of the liquid, discard the gypsum, and use the remaining liquid to cook the rice into porridge. When nearly done, add 2 stalks of scallion whites and 2 he of fermented soybean paste, then continue cooking until fully cooked. Consume on an empty stomach. The gypsum may be reused up to three times.
