Longevity and Fertility Wine,For those of a naturally weak constitution who cannot tolerate wind, cold, or physical labor; or those who have overtaxed their qi and blood through excessive worry; or those suffering from hemiplegia or atrophy and numbness of the limbs; or those with deficiency and cold in the essence, resulting in prolonged infertility, frequent female pregnancies, or recurrent miscarriages.

Formulas Name : Longevity and Fertility Wine

Chinese Name : 延寿获嗣酒

Drug Formulation

Raw Rehmannia 12 liang (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, steamed with 2 liang of Amomum seed for the duration of one incense stick, then remove the Amomum seed), Rubus fruit (soaked in wine overnight, stir-fried) 4 liang, Chinese yam (stir-fried) 4 liang,Euryale seed (roasted) 4 liang, Poria sclerotium (wood removed) 4 liang, Cypress seed (oil removed) 4 liang, Semen Cuscutae (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Cornus fruit (soaked in wine) 4 liang, Cistanche (stem removed) 4 liang, Ophiopogon tuber (core removed) 4 liang, Achyranthes root 4 liang, and Deer antler 1 pair (roasted with butter).

Processing

Place the above herbs in a vat along with 50 jin of distilled spirits, 20 jin of ash-free liquor, 10 jin of white wine, half a jin of longan flesh, and half a jin of walnut meat. Simmer in a double boiler for the duration of seven incense sticks, then bury the vat in soil for seven days. When exhumed, ensure no air escapes.

Instructions for Use

Each night, both the man and woman should drink 4–5 cups each, taking care not to become intoxicated. After 100 days, they will be exceptionally vigorous.

Note

Avoid sexual intercourse for over a month.
