Drug Formulation

Half liang of Tiannanxing, half liang of Banxia (washed seven times in hot water), 1 fen of white silkworm pupae, and 1 fen of white alum (raw).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix thoroughly with 7 apricot kernels (with skin and tips removed) and 1 croton seed. Then, use the juice of peeled ginger to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, and air-dry them in the shade.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills per dose; for sudden, severe coughing, swallow with ginger decoction; for chronic cough, chew a small amount of walnut meat and beeswax each, then swallow.
