Drug Formulation

1 fen of Maoxiang flowers, 1 liang of reed root, 3 fen of Ophiopogon tuber (core removed), 3 fen of red Poria, half a liang of licorice (lightly roasted until reddish, coarsely chopped), and 3 fen of loquat leaves (hairs removed, lightly roasted until yellowish).

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose. Boil with 1 medium bowl of water, adding half a fen of fresh ginger, 1 fen of bamboo shavings, and 50 grains of japonica rice, until reduced to 6 fen. Strain and take while warm, at any time.
