Acorus 2 fen, Polygala (with core removed) 2 fen, Poria 2 fen, Ginseng 3 liang.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a tung tree seed.
Benefits
Unstable heart qi, deficiency of the five viscera; in severe cases, anxiety, grief, and melancholy; sudden forgetfulness; symptoms improve in the morning but worsen in the evening, and improve in the evening only to recur in the morning; when symptoms flare up, they manifest as mania and vertigo.
Instructions for Use
Take 6–7 pills per dose, 5 times daily.
Note
Avoid vinegar-based foods, mutton, and malt syrup.
