Processing

Grind the above into an extremely fine powder. Take 10 liang of round, sound Pinellia tuber, grind it into powder, and mix it with water to form a thin paste; shape into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Benefits

For men with chronic weakness of the spleen and kidneys, all chronic cold disorders in the lower abdomen, involuntary seminal emission, frequent and slippery urination, and damp itching of the scrotum; as well as for those with an unstable spleen essence, loss of appetite, and, over time, spleen-related diarrhea progressing to alternating chills and fever—resembling malaria but with a predominance of chills, accompanied by slippery diarrhea with white pus; and for women with chronic cold in the uterus, an unstable pregnancy, and red or white vaginal discharge.

Instructions for Use

When the mixture is extremely dry, take 1 pill on an empty stomach, washed down with salted water; for women, wash it down with vinegar water. Another method involves forming the pills by adding cold water drop by drop; ensure the mixture is ground extremely fine, air-dried, then placed in a crucible, covered with a tile, and calcined over high heat—this method yields particularly potent results. The Pinellia Thick Paste Pills, while milder and less potent, will show efficacy with long-term use.
