Processing

Except for frankincense, benzoin, and cinnabar—which should be ground separately—grind the remaining ingredients together into a fine powder. Mix thoroughly with the three ingredients mentioned earlier, then form into pills using ash-free wine as a binder, each the size of a tung tree seed. Store in a small porcelain bottle, ensuring no air escapes. Take this remedy only on days when the sun is out.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills at a time on an empty stomach, washed down with warm wine, followed by a dry food to settle the stomach. The next day, before taking the medicine, first steam and wash the body with a decoction of daikon radish and green onions; in the evening, take another 30 pills.

Note

Avoid pork and mutton blood.
