1 liang of Motherwort, 1 liang of Corydalis, 1 liang of Pangolin Scale, 2 liang of Cyperus, 1 liang of Southern Safflower, 1 liang 5 qian of Croton Seed, 1 liang of Chuanxiong,5 qian of Moutan Bark, 2 liang of Bupleurum, 3 liang of Raw Rehmannia, 1 liang of Dried Ginger, 1 liang of Atractylodes, 1 liang of Evodia, 1 liang of Penetrating Bone Herb, 5 qian of Wood Fragrance, 2 liang of Schizonepeta, 2 liang of Fennel, 1 liang of Qi Ai, 5 qian of Cinnamon Bark, 1 liang of Peppermint, 2 liang of Fangfeng.

Processing

Use 10 jin of sesame oil to steep the herbs; steep for seven days in winter and three days in summer. Simmer until the herbs are charred, remove the residue, and simmer again until the mixture becomes thick enough that a drop of liquid forms a bead. Add 4 jin of roasted cinnabar and stir while simmering until it forms a paste.

Instructions for Use

Spread the ointment on a piece of cloth, melt it over low heat, and apply it to the Dantian acupoint. Adjust the amount as needed; clean the area with a slice of ginger before each application.
