Rhubarb 4 liang, Scutellaria 8 liang, Chrysanthemum 2 liang, White Tribulus (roasted) 4 liang,Gardenia (roasted) 2 liang, Oyster Shell (calcined) 3 liang, Cicada Shedding 1 liang, Akebia 2 liang, Platycodon 2 liang, Phellodendron 2 liang, Peppermint 1 liang, Scrophularia (stem removed) 2 liang, Ligusticum 1 liang, Sodium Silicate 4 liang, Licorice 1 liang, Cassia Leaf 4 liang.

Benefits

Indicated for sudden onset of “fire eyes” (red and swollen eyes), tinnitus due to liver heat, sores on the tongue resembling a clam shell, and severe constipation.

Instructions for Use

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, sift through a sieve, and mix with cold boiled water to form small pills. Coat the pills with 10 liang of talc and 2 qian of indigo powder until glossy. Take 2 qian per dose, twice daily, with warm boiled water.

Note

Contraindicated for pregnant women.
