Drug Formulation

Half a liang of macaque skull, half a liang of tiger skull, half a liang of cat skull, 1 fen of arsenic trioxide (finely ground), 1 liang of Hengshan (chopped), 1 fen of cinnabar (finely ground), 3 fen of frankincense (finely ground), 1 fen of musk (finely ground), 1 fen of white mustard seed, 1 centipede, and 1 fen of asafoetida.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of soapberry seeds.

Instructions for Use

Wrap one pill in scarlet silk; for men, place it on the left arm; for women, on the right. Tie it to the upper arm. When an attack occurs, untie it and hold it in the hand—left for men, right for women—and sniff it frequently. It is effective after 4–5 episodes.
