Drug Formulation
Ginseng (with root tip removed) 1 liang, licorice 1 qian (roasted until yellow), poppy shells 2 liang (chopped, stir-fried with half a heung of black beans until oil is released; discard the black beans).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder.
Benefits
For children with irregular body temperature, abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloody or mucoid stools, and uncontrollable bowel movements—often caused by a tendency to lie down and a complete refusal to eat.
Instructions for Use
Take 1 qian per dose. For diarrhea, mix with jujube decoction; for dysentery with red and white stools, mix with ginger and black plum decoction; if white stools predominate over red, mix with equal parts warm wine and plain hot water; if red stools predominate over white, mix with honey water. Take before breastfeeding or meals.
Note
Avoid raw and cold foods.
