Drug Formulation

8 liang of soapstone alum (mix with 1 jin of flour to form cakes, then bake in the fire until charred), 6 liang of Atractylodes lancea (soaked in rice wash and stir-fried), 6 liang of Magnolia officinalis (peeled and stir-fried with ginger juice), 6 liang of dried tangerine peel, 6 liang of licorice, and 10 liang of Sichuan pepper (with closed tips and seeds removed).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Combine with 3 jin of high-quality date pulp (boiled, peeled, and pitted) and 3 jin of walnuts (shelled), then pound together into a paste. Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 70–80 pills per dose, washed down with wine. Initially, the pills will smell fragrant; once the illness is cured, they will smell foul.
