Formulas Name : Supreme Sage’s Complete Efficacy Decoction
Chinese Name : 至圣真人全功饮
Drug Formulation
2 liang of winterflower (stems removed, lightly roasted), 2 liang of poppy husks (inner membrane scraped off, seeds cleaned, stems removed, mixed with a small amount of honey), 1 liang of aged tangerine peel, and 1 liang of licorice.

Processing
Lightly roast the above herbs and grind them into a coarse powder.
Benefits
For chronic or recent coughs, excessive phlegm, shortness of breath, pulmonary atrophy with emaciation and wasting, inability to sit or lie down, and cases where other treatments have proven ineffective.
Instructions for Use
Take 3 qian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water, 3 slices of fresh ginger, and 2 black plums; decoct until reduced to 8 fen; strain; and take before bedtime.
Note
Avoid salty, sour, alcoholic, wheat-based, and vinegar-containing foods.
