Drug Formulation

Half liang of Wood Fragrance, 1 jin of Cardamom (peeled, wrapped in damp paper, and roasted), 1 fen of Cinnamon Bark (discard the tasteless parts), 1 fen of Aged Tangerine Peel, 2 fen of Purple-flowered Atractylodes (wrapped in damp paper and slow-roasted), and half fen of Licorice (roasted).

Instructions for Use

Prepare as a powder. For each dose, take 1 qian; add 6 fen of water, boil for 5–6 boils, then pour and drink while hot. If suffering from cholera with unceasing vomiting and diarrhea, add 2 leaves of mint and boil together; drink while hot.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods.
