Drug Formulation
1 jin of asphalt, 10 liang of orpiment, 2 liang of frankincense, and oil as needed (adjust quantity as required).

Processing
First, melt the asphalt in a silver vessel over low heat, stirring with an iron whisk. Check the consistency periodically; gradually add oil until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Next, add the frankincense and stir until well blended, then strain through cotton. Finally, add the realgar, stir until uniform, and transfer to a porcelain bowl.

Instructions for Use
Each time the medicine is applied, spread it with a hot iron grater onto thick, soft paper. First, rub the “Pain-Relieving Myrrh Powder” dry onto the affected area, massaging it in with your hands more than 10 times, then cover it with the “Great Red Plaster.”
