Drug Formulation

3 jin of lamb, 4 liang of cassia bark, 3 liang of angelica root, 3 liang of dried ginger, 3 liang of licorice (roasted), 2 liang of evodia fruit, 2 liang of ginseng, 2 liang of ligusticum root, 2 liang of dried rehmannia root (one formula includes 3 liang of platycodon root).

Instructions for Use

Boil the meat in 1 dou of water; reduce to 5 sheng of broth. Remove the meat, add the herbs, and simmer until reduced to 2.5 sheng. Divide into 3 doses.
