Drug Formulation

10 liang of fresh ginger (washed, thinly sliced with the skin on into coin-shaped pieces), 10 liang of cleaned fennel seeds (mixed evenly with the ginger, marinated overnight, then stir-fried the next day until dry—until the ginger becomes crisp), and 10 liang of green salt (crushed, stir-fried in a silver-lined pot until the sulfuric odor is completely removed, then spread out to cool).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from flour boiled in good wine to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine or rice water, twice daily. Within 2–3 days, one will feel relief in the chest and be able to enjoy delicious food.
