Drug Formulation

8 qian of Coptis, 4 liang of raw gypsum, 2 liang 5 qian of Scutellaria, 1 liang 5 qian of mint leaves, 2 liang of lotus seed hearts, 8 qian of Angelica dahurica, 8 qian of Platycodon, 2 liang of chrysanthemum flowers,Chuanxiong 8 qian, Red Peony Root 8 qian, Angelica Root 2 liang 5 qian, Phellodendron Bark 5 qian, Mustard Spikes 8 qian, Raw Gardenia Fruit 2 liang 5 qian, Rhubarb 4 liang, Licorice 5 qian, Forsythia (seed removed) 2 liang 5 qian.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. For every 1 jin, 13 liang, and 3 qian of the powder, mix in 6 qian of cinnabar powder and 6 qian of realgar powder. Add 1 qian of ox bile and 5 qian of borneol. Grind all ingredients together until fine and blend thoroughly. Mix with refined honey to form pills weighing 2 qian each, then seal them securely with wax paper and wax paper tubes.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose. Swallow with plain boiled water, once in the morning and once in the evening.
