Drug Formulation
49 Mylabris beetles, 49 willow roots, 7 Trichosanthes seeds, a small amount each of frankincense, myrrh, and musk, and 3 qian of pine resin.

Processing
Combine the ingredients with 14 liang of pure, clear oil. Simmer until the willow twigs are charred black, then strain out the residue. Add 5 liang of orpiment; the mixture is ready when drops added to water form beads. Then incorporate the remaining herbs, stir until thoroughly blended, and store in a porcelain container for future use.
