Soap (with skin, strings, and seeds removed) 2 jin.

Processing
Soak in a steady stream of running water for 1–2 bowls’ worth; soak for 5 days in spring, 3 days in summer, 7 days in autumn, and 10 days in winter. Remove, crush, mix with water again, and filter out the residue. Simmer the water alone until a drop forms a bead. Then add 3 liang of raw white honey to thicken the ointment and remove any residual heat.

Scrofula.
Instructions for Use
Apply as a poultice, changing it twice daily. Since this ointment dissolves easily, reheat it on damp days; alternatively, white wax may be used to form the ointment.
