Drug Formulation

2 qian of cinnabar (ground separately), 2 qian of borax (ground separately), 2 qian of horse-tooth powder (ground separately),2 qian of mercury, 2 qian of sulfur (mixed with mercury to form granules), half a qian of ox bile (ground separately), half a qian of borneol (ground separately), half a qian of musk (ground separately), half a liang of iron powder (ground separately), and 2 liang of Tiannanxing (ground into a powder, mixed with ox bile, placed back into the gallbladder, tied with a string, and hung in a well-ventilated area to dry; use when dry).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with boiled wheat paste to form pills the size of a tung tree seed, and shape them into flat cakes.
