Chinese Name : 提痰药
Drug Formulation
3 qian of white alum (dissolved in a small amount of water in a porcelain vessel), 3 seeds of croton.

Processing
Divide the croton seeds into 6 pieces, place them in the alum, and calcine in a jar. Once the alum is charred, remove it; discard the seeds, grind the alum into a fine powder, and store it.
Benefits
Throat sores (both single and multiple).
Instructions for Use
Take 1–2 fen each time, mix thoroughly with vinegar and water, and use a goose feather dipped in the mixture to sweep the inside of the throat. The phlegm will naturally be expelled; then apply the medicine by blowing it into the throat.
