Benefits
For cases where smallpox lesions have progressed from eruption to the “filling with pus” stage and are beginning to subside, but the patient is constipated.
Instructions for Use
Insert a bamboo tube into the opening of the bladder and inflate it with air; then take equal parts of pig bile, raw honey, and clear oil (half a zhan each), mix well with a small amount of warm water, pour the mixture into the bladder, and inflate it again until fully expanded. Tie it securely with thread, insert it into the rectum, and leave it in place until the patient’s breathing returns to normal, at which point it should be removed.
