Drug Formulation

1 qian of soapberry ash, 1 qian of cinnabar, half a qian of powdered Tiannanxing, 1 qian of powdered talc, 1 qian of mercury oxide (high-quality), and 24 seeds of croton (with skin and tips removed).

Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder; mix with a paste made from Cold Food Festival flour to form pills the size of mung beans.

For each dose, children aged 1 or 2 years take 2 pills; those aged 3 years take 3 pills. Take with a decoction of Qian Tang before bedtime.
