Drug Formulation

5 qian of Tianma, 5 qian of Cao Wu (soaked in hot water, peel removed), 5 qian of Chuanxiong, 5 qian of Xixin, 5 qian of Cangzhu, 5 qian of Licorice, 5 qian of Chuan Wu (soaked in hot water, peel removed), 5 qian of Peppermint, 5 qian of Gansong, 5 qian of Fangfeng, 5 qian of Bai Zhi, 5 qian of Bai Fuzi (peel removed), 3 qian of Realgar, and 3 qian of Whole Scorpion.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with cold-food flour to form a thick paste, then shape into cakes the size of a soybean.

Benefits

Instructions for Use

Take 20–30 cakes per dose; chew thoroughly after meals and wash down with scallion-infused broth; for conditions caused by fire, heat, or phlegm-related pain, wash down with tea. In severe cases, take two doses daily.
