Processing

Pluck the feathers, wash thoroughly with water, split open with a bamboo knife, remove the intestines, liver, and lungs; once no water is visible, stuff the duck back together, then add 49 longan flesh, 10 peach kernels, 1 liang 5 qian of lotus seed meat, and 5 qian of fritillary bulb, and sew it tightly shut with thread.

Instructions for Use

Use a new earthenware pot, 1 jin of aged wine, 2 jin of children’s urine, and 1 jin of sweetened water. Simmer until extremely tender. First consume the duck broth infused with the ingredients inside the cavity, followed by the duck meat, which can be eaten with rice. For severe cases, recovery occurs after 4–5 doses.
