Formulas Name : Realgar Anti-Malaria Pills

Chinese Name : 雄黄截疟丸

Drug Formulation

1 qian of Renyan, 3 qian of realgar, 3 qian of cinnabar, 2 qian of licorice, and 1 liang 5 qian of mung bean powder.

From *Hui Chun*, Volume 3.

Processing

Grind each ingredient into a fine powder. Mix with mung bean flour paste to form pills the size of a white bean, and coat the outside with cinnabar.

Benefits

For malaria.

Instructions for Use

On the day before an attack begins, at the fifth watch, swallow 2 pills with well water. For children, take 1 pill. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
