Processing

Place the above ingredients together in a porcelain box, calcine over a fire until their properties are preserved, then grind into a powder (the calcination must be precise; if overdone, the potency is reduced; if insufficient, the properties are too potent).

Instructions for Use

Administer 1 qian or half a qian per dose, mixed with a concentrated decoction of black plum. This should be given immediately upon observing symptoms of drooping eyelids, a pale complexion, and signs of “slow spleen.”
