Drug Formulation

3 liang of lard, 3 qian of Gastrodia elata, 3 qian of Angelica dahurica, 5 croton seeds (weighing half a qian), 2 qian of mercury oxide, 5 qian of beeswax, 5 qian of realgar, and half a liang of musk.

Processing

Boil the Tianma, White Angelica, and Croton seeds in the lard until the mixture turns yellow; strain out the Croton seeds and discard them; clarify the liquid; add the remaining four ingredients (including mercuric oxide) and mix thoroughly; let cool completely.

Instructions for Use

Apply a small amount to the affected area before bedtime. Continue until the itching subsides.
