Drug Formulation
Half a liang of red ejiao (roasted), 1 fen of wood fragrant, 1 fen of ginseng, 4 zhu of musk (ground and mixed in), 1 fen of cassia bark (raw),2 zhu of borneol (ground), 10 zhu of tiger bone (roasted with ghee), 10 zhu of sea-tung bark, half a liang of ephedra, half a liang of astragalus, 8 zhu of white moss bark, half a liang of aconite (roasted until split, peel removed), 10 zhu of poria (peel removed), 8 zhu of angelica,Angelica dahurica 8 zhu, Wolf’s-bane 8 zhu, Pinellia 8 zhu (boiled in ginger juice, rinsed to remove slipperiness), Ligusticum 0.5 liang, Cicada shells 21 pieces, Rhinoceros horn 1 fen, Aconite 8 zhu (soaked in wine overnight), White silkworm pupae 1 fen, Antelope horn 1 fen, Fangfeng 8 zhu,White Flower Snake 1 liang (soaked in wine, roasted with butter, bones removed), Black Snake 1 liang (soaked in wine, roasted with butter, bones removed), Centipede 21 (heads and legs removed, stir-fried with wheat bran), Platycodon root 8 zhu (top removed), Dried Ginger 4 zhu (roasted), Gastrodia tuber 1 fen.
