Formulas Name : Rú Shèng Black Ointment

Chinese Name : 如圣黑膏

Drug Formulation

Half a sheng of fermented soybeans, 1 fen of Gentiana root, 1 fen of Wu-yi.

Processing

Wrap the ingredients in damp paper, seal with salt mud, calcine over a fire while preserving their properties, grind into a fine powder, and mix with half a jin of raw clear oil. Simmer until reduced to 4 liang, then quickly stir in the powder until thoroughly blended. Store in a porcelain jar.

For chronic scalp sores, sores around the ear, and alopecia areata.

Instructions for Use

Apply topically. For extremely itchy ear lobe sores, apply once before bedtime; to treat alopecia, apply topically after shaving the head.
