Formulas Name : Scrophularia Decoction

Chinese Name : 玄参饮

Drug Formulation

Half liang of Scrophularia, half liang of Cissus, half liang of licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped), half liang of Cimicifuga, half liang of Gardenia seeds, half liang of Scutellaria (black core removed), half liang of rhinoceros horn (sliced, lightly roasted), half liang of Ophiopogon (core removed, dried).

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

For children aged 3–4 years: Take 1 qian bi per dose, add 7 fen of water, decoct until reduced to 4 fen, strain, and take 3–4 times daily.
